Practice Entry: Introductions

Hi, my name is Destinee Castro and I am a 19 year old sophomore at Glendale Community College. I attended Peoria High School for 4 years, as did my dad and 6 of my 7 siblings. Yes, I have a big family. I played club softball since I was 8 and was a Varsity starter all 4 years at Peoria. So you can say it was pretty much my whole life.

After high school I decided to not continue playing in college and just focus on school and work. I plan to transfer to Grand Canyon University next year and pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. But on my long journey through college I still plan to take road trips with my friends and go out and enjoy being young. As of this year I've  been to California, Sedona, and Flagstaff three times each and am currently planning to go skydiving in January. Graduating college is my main goal but enjoying my life along the way is what excites me the most in the future to come.
